1. General information only

All content on the Platform is provided for general information purposes only. It does not constitute financial, credit, tax, insurance, legal or technical advice, and it does not take your personal circumstances into account.

You should obtain independent professional advice before entering into any vehicle purchase, credit agreement, refinance arrangement or insurance policy.

2. No warranty of accuracy

Vehicle listings, specifications, images, mileage figures, availability, pricing and dealer information are supplied by third parties. While we take reasonable care, we do not verify this information independently and we make no warranty that it is accurate, current or complete.

Images are often illustrative and may show a different derivative, colour, trim or accessory package. Always confirm the exact specification with the Partner in writing before you commit.

3. Pricing is indicative

Prices may exclude on-the-road charges, licensing and registration, delivery, administration fees, dealer fees, accessories, service plans, extended warranties and value-added products.

Prices, incentives and manufacturer support change frequently and may be withdrawn without notice. A price is only binding when confirmed in writing by the Partner in a signed offer to purchase.

4. Finance calculators and instalment estimates

Any calculator, instalment figure or affordability indicator on the Platform is an illustration based on assumptions, typically including a linked prime-based interest rate, a stated term, a stated deposit, a stated balloon or residual value, statutory initiation and monthly service fees, and no credit life premium.

Actual instalments depend on the credit provider's assessment of your risk profile and will differ. Deal Match is not a credit provider and gives no guarantee of approval, rate or term.

5. Insurance quotes

Insurance premiums quoted through the Platform are indicative and subject to the insurer's underwriting criteria, your claims history, the vehicle, the driver profile, the area of use and overnight parking arrangements.

Cover is only in force once the insurer or broker confirms it. Deal Match does not underwrite, advise on, or bind insurance.

6. Trade-in and valuation estimates

Trade-in indications are estimates based on the information you supply and market data. They are not offers, and they are always subject to physical inspection and verification of history, mileage and outstanding finance.

7. Third-party partners

Deal Match is an introducer. We do not control Partners and we do not warrant their solvency, service levels, licensing status at any given time, stock availability, or the quality, roadworthiness, legality or title of any vehicle.

Your contract is with the Partner. Claims relating to a vehicle, a credit agreement or an insurance policy must be pursued against that Partner.

8. No endorsement

The presence of a Partner, brand or vehicle on the Platform is not an endorsement or recommendation, and the order in which Partners or Offers appear does not indicate suitability for you.

9. Forward-looking statements and editorial content

Journal articles, market commentary, buying guides and price trend content reflect opinion at the time of writing. Market conditions, interest rates, fuel prices and model availability change; older content may be out of date and is retained for reference only.

10. Availability and technical issues

We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors, viruses or other harmful components. You are responsible for your own device security and for maintaining backups of information you submit.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deal Match, its directors, employees and contractors are not liable for any loss or damage — direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential — arising from reliance on Platform content, from any Match, or from any transaction concluded with a Partner. This does not limit any liability that may not lawfully be limited.

13. No financial, legal or tax advice

Nothing on the Platform constitutes financial advice or an intermediary service as contemplated in the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act 37 of 2002, nor does it constitute legal, accounting or tax advice. We provide factual information and introductions only.

Any recommendation about a credit agreement, insurance policy or investment must come from a person authorised to give it. If you need advice, consult an authorised financial services provider, an attorney or a registered tax practitioner before you sign.

14. Illustrative figures, calculators and examples

Any monthly instalment, interest rate, balloon payment, deposit, insurance premium or trade-in figure shown on the Platform is illustrative only. Illustrations typically assume a prime-linked rate, a standard term, no arrears, an approved credit profile and statutory initiation and service fees at their current maxima.

Your actual cost depends on the credit provider's assessment of your affordability and risk profile under the National Credit Act, on the deposit and term you choose, on the vehicle's condition and mileage, and on prevailing rates on the day the agreement is signed. Figures may differ materially from any illustration.

15. Vehicle condition, mileage and history

Vehicle descriptions, photographs, specifications, mileage and service-history statements originate from Partners or from third-party data sources. We do not physically inspect vehicles and we do not verify odometer readings, accident history, flood damage, structural repairs or outstanding finance.

Before you buy, you should insist on a written condition report, obtain an independent roadworthy and mechanical inspection, verify the vehicle identification number against the national register, and confirm there is no outstanding finance or police interest against the vehicle. Where a vehicle is sold voetstoots, understand precisely what that means for your recourse before signing.

16. Availability, pricing errors and stock movement

Stock moves quickly. A vehicle shown as available may be sold, reserved or repriced before you enquire, and a quoted price may contain an administrative or typographical error. Nothing on the Platform is an offer capable of acceptance; a binding agreement arises only when you and the Partner sign.

Where an obvious error appears in a price or specification, neither Deal Match nor the Partner is bound by it, and the Partner may withdraw or correct the quotation.

17. Third-party partners and independent conduct

Dealerships, credit providers, insurers, brokers and service providers introduced through the Platform are independent businesses. They are not our agents, employees, franchisees or joint venturers, and we do not control their pricing, their sales conduct, their turnaround times or their compliance with law.

Verification means we have carried out reasonable onboarding checks — such as company registration, trading history and, where applicable, regulatory registration — at the time of onboarding. It is not a warranty of solvency, of service quality, of continued compliance, or of the accuracy of anything a Partner tells you.

18. External links and embedded content

The Platform may link to, or embed content from, third-party websites. Those sites are not under our control, we do not endorse their content, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices or security. You follow external links at your own risk and should read the terms and privacy policy of any site you visit.

19. Availability of the Platform

We aim to keep the Platform available, but we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free access. The Platform may be unavailable during maintenance, or as a result of load-shedding, network failure, hosting incidents or events beyond our control. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time without notice.

20. Testimonials, indications of demand and business maturity

Deal Match is a new business. Where the Platform refers to typical response times, coverage or partner activity, those statements describe our operating intent and current experience, not a guaranteed or audited outcome, and they should not be read as a promise of a particular result for your requirement.

Any testimonial or example reflects one person's experience at a particular time and is not a representation that you will achieve a similar outcome.

21. Intellectual property

The Platform, its layout, source code, wordmark, imagery and written content are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights held by or licensed to Deal Match. Partner logos and vehicle marks remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute or adapt Platform content without our written permission, other than for your own personal, non-commercial reference.

22. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deal Match, its directors, employees and contractors are not liable for any loss or damage — direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity or loss of data — arising from reliance on Platform content, from any match, or from any transaction concluded with a Partner. This does not limit any liability that may not lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

23. Reporting an inaccuracy

If anything on the Platform appears inaccurate, outdated or misleading, please tell us at paul@dealmatch.africa so that we can investigate and correct it. Include the page, the vehicle or partner concerned, and what you believe is wrong.

24. Relationship to our other documents

This Disclaimer forms part of, and must be read with, our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and POPIA Notice. Where a conflict arises on a factual accuracy or reliance question, this Disclaimer prevails; on a data-protection question, the POPIA Notice prevails.
